What is HackXplore?

HackXplore is a healthcare-focused hackathon taking place in Toronto, Canada. We invite students of different skill levels and academic backgrounds to take part in building software projects in under 24 hours. This is a learning opportunity and we encourage teams to attend one or more of our workshops. We are not completely devoid of fun either, and there will be an abundance of activities throughout the 2-days to help you de-stress and get to know your teammates & other participants.

How much does it cost?

Absolutely free! We just need your presence.

Who can attend?

Students aged 16 or older are eligible to participate.

What if i’m new to programming?

We welcome hackers of all levels. The hackathon is a great place to attend workshops and ask questions. And remember, the final pitch is more than just the technical specs.

Can I work on a past project?

No. We trust that you and your team will display fairness and integrity by starting a new project at the same time as everyone else.

I don’t have a team, Can I still come?

Absolutely! We have a handy tool just for you. Check out our Apply page to get started.

I like to challenge myself. I like to learn – so I like to try new things and try to keep growing.
